Cascade Clamps - Founded in Portland, Oregon in 1943, the Cascade Manufacturing Company began as a small machine store hiring just 4 individuals. Total sales for that particular year totaled 60 thousand dollars. The very first recorded sales revenues involved the assembly and machining of stainless-steel pipe fittings, valves and various parts. Within five years of operation, the company had stretched to 40 workers and their annual sales volume had risen to 330 thousand dollars. These days, Cascade is amongst the leading worldwide producers within the material handling industry.

Manufacture and design of the company's original hydraulic cylinder paved the way in Cascade's aggressive quest of better business opportunities.
